Are you looking for a part-time job as a switchboard operator? We are currently seeking a substitute to support operations when regular staff is absent.
About the assignment
The work as a switchboard operator will be performed at our client's office in central Härnösand. Working hours are typically Monday–Friday between 08:00–16:30.
You will work on an as-needed basis as a substitute to cover for regular staff absences, such as sickness or leave. The need varies, but we expect you to be available to work an average of 2–3 days per week. Shifts are sometimes booked with short notice, so we prefer candidates who are morning people. We have a higher demand during holidays and the summer season.
A background check will be conducted before the assignment begins.
Your responsibilities
- Handling incoming calls at the switchboard
- Receiving documents/mail and greeting visitors at a small reception desk
- Routing calls to the correct person
- Regular computer work
Customer service and empathy towards others, both over the phone and in person, are very important parts of the job. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, pedagogical, and outgoing.
Your qualifications
- Good computer skills
- Completed upper secondary education (high school diploma)
- Fluent in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
- Good knowledge of English
- Available to step in as needed, at least 2–3 days/week
- Previous experience in reception/switchboard operations is a plus
