About Us

We are Innovationsbolaget, and our mission is to strengthen businesses in Örnsköldsvik and position Örnsköldsvik as a creative and innovative hub. Innovationsbolaget is jointly owned by local companies and Rodret, the parent company of the municipal group. Our focus lies at the interface between businesses, both within the same industry and across industry boundaries, enabling innovation, development, and collaboration. By enhancing the ability to drive development and collaborate with others, we strengthen the competitiveness of businesses. This is what Innovationsbolaget supports companies with. We provide contexts for thinking new and doing new together.

This means that we, for example, create cross-border collaborations and innovation and development processes between companies, work to attract funding and capital for innovation and development in Örnsköldsvik, and highlight companies and collaborations. Innovationsbolaget works in a needs-based manner and packages projects and processes based on company demand.

About the Role

As an Innovation Leader with us, you will play a central role in:

  • Capturing needs and challenges from companies across a wide range of industries.
  • Packaging initiatives and leading processes and projects that meet the needs of companies.
  • Initiating, designing, and conducting activities such as innovation sprints, knowledge and inspiration seminars, and workshops with various development focuses.
  • Sharing responsibility for administrative and practical tasks in ongoing operations.
  • Serving as a key figure in our business development, in close collaboration with the CEO and the rest of the team.

We are looking for someone who has:

Relevant university or college education. Knowledge in innovation management, business development, and facilitation. Experience in designing and leading innovation or development processes, preferably where different operations collaborate. A strong ability to take responsibility, collaborate, and communicate.

During the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license plus a certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency, or another ID document that strengthens citizenship. For some positions, extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal record register are required. We appreciate language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

In our municipality, a number of positions are classified for security, so a security clearance may be required. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
