Night Operator for Museum in Central Stockholm

We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated security guard with a focus on operator duties for our monitoring center at a client within the museum sector in central Stockholm.

This is a dedicated night shift role for you who thrive with responsibility, technology, and security work in a professional environment. As an operator, you play a central role in the client's security organization, working to monitor, coordinate, and handle security-related incidents to ensure a safe and secure operation around the clock.

About the Role

You will work in a technologically advanced environment where service, security awareness, and professionalism are crucial. The role requires good teamwork skills, a calm working approach, and a clear understanding of the security guard's responsibilities.

Responsibilities

In the role of operator/security guard, your duties include among other things:

• Act according to the role of a security guard in accordance with current laws and guidelines
• Handle and monitor technical security systems
• Perform alarm handling and alarm transmission for all sites
• Take action in case of incidents and deviations
• Surveillance via CCTV
• Receive external visitors, contractors, and craftsmen
• Administer access cards, employee cards, and keys
• Receive, register, and follow up on fault reports
• Work closely with the team leader and the client's security organization
• Perform patrols and ensure that established security routines are followed
• Document incidents and report according to current routines

We are looking for you who

• Have completed security guard training (VU1 and VU2)
• Are law-abiding, drug-free, and approved by the County Administrative Board for work within an authorized security company
• Have high social competence and a professional attitude
• Are flexible, unpretentious, and responsible
• Are service-oriented, helpful, and solution-oriented
• Fluently speak and write Swedish and English
• Can work both independently and in a team
• Have a genuine interest in security and service
• Have previous experience working in a security center or similar environment

Requirements for the position

• Completed security guard training (VU1 and VU2)
• At least 1 year of documented experience from a similar position
• Good ability to convey information clearly in speech and writing in Swedish and English
• Good computer skills
