We are now looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator who wants to help develop our safety work and contribute to a safe and sustainable workplace throughout the organization.
In this role, you will have a central position with great opportunities to influence. You will become a key part of our ongoing work to develop the occupational health and safety area and establish an occupational health and safety management system in accordance with ISO 45001.
About the role
As an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator at Polygon, you will have a central role in developing, implementing, and monitoring our systematic occupational health and safety work. You will work closely with operations and serve as a support to managers and leadership on safety issues.
The role offers significant opportunities to influence and develop our working methods. A key part of the assignment will be driving the work to establish and certify our occupational health and safety management system according to ISO 45001.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Develop, implement, and manage routines, policies, and support systems within the occupational health and safety area.
- Lead and drive the work towards ISO 45001 certification.
- Ensure that legal and internal requirements are met within the occupational health and safety area.
- Support managers in systematic occupational health and safety work (SAM).
- Plan and conduct risk assessments, safety rounds, and follow-ups.
- Monitor occupational health and safety work through key figures, analyses, and reporting.
- Coordinate and develop training initiatives within occupational health and safety.
- Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits.
- Act as a contact person for authorities and external parties regarding occupational health and safety issues.
Who are you?

We believe you have:
- Relevant education in occupational health and safety.
- Experience in operational and strategic occupational health and safety work.
- Experience with or good knowledge of ISO 45001 or similar management systems.
- Experience in driving change and development work.
- Good communication skills and experience working independently.
- A valid driver's license (Category B), as travel is involved in the role.
Experience from construction, remediation, or consulting activities is an advantage.

Employment type
The position is a permanent employment with the location in Solna. Start date is September 2026 or as agreed.
