About Samhall
Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labor market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Every year, approximately 2,000 individuals are referred to us by the Swedish Public Employment Service, and what we do is offer them a stable platform to stand on and the opportunity to train their skills and develop their competence. Our most important goal is that 1,500 people leave us every year for work outside of Samhall.
Regardless of where you work in our organization, our mission and goals are highly present. The conviction that all people have competence is a compass and a driving force for all of us. We believe that you, reading this, feel just as strongly about it as we do.
We are 24,000 employees, including approximately 1,500 managers and specialists, with operations throughout the country. Together, we work for a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.
Welcome to Samhall!
About the role
We are now looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Strategist who wants to take a central role in developing, managing, and future-proofing our systematic occupational health and safety work. This is an opportunity for you if you thrive at the intersection of strategy, analysis, process development, and operational support. As an Occupational Health and Safety Strategist, you are responsible for developing and monitoring the process for systematic occupational health and safety work and ensuring that working methods, control, and support contribute to the organization's goals.
The role involves group-wide responsibility where you work strategically to develop the occupational health and safety area while creating conditions for managers and operations to succeed in daily occupational health and safety work. You will be an important advisor in the field of occupational health and safety and work closely with management, specialists, and other support functions.
Your main tasks

- Ensure that guidelines, routines, method support, and system support within the occupational health and safety area are current, relevant, and effective.
- Monitor, analyze, and report occupational health and safety results and provide decision-making material to the executive management, board, and occupational health and safety committee.
- Develop and manage working methods in accordance with occupational health and safety legislation, the management system, and the requirements of ISO 45001.
- Strengthen managers' conditions to conduct systematic occupational health and safety work through support, training initiatives, and practical tools.
- Ensure that occupational health and safety information and educational materials are current, accessible, and understandable for the organization's different target groups.
- Be an internal specialist and advisor in company-wide occupational health and safety issues.
- Monitor legislation and requirements in the occupational health and safety area and translate these into operationally adapted working methods.
- Contribute to the development of Samhall's occupational health and safety management, occupational health and safety handbook, and long-term goal and action plans.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have strong competence in the occupational health and safety area and who are driven by developing sustainable solutions in a complex organization. You are analytical, structured, and have the ability to translate legal requirements, goals, and strategies into practical working methods that create value for the operation.
You are confident in occupational health and safety legislation, but also pragmatic and solution-oriented in how you approach challenges. Furthermore, you are pedagogical and communicative, with the ability to make complex information clear and relevant for different target groups.
As a person, you are self-reliant, initiative-taking, and development-driven. You build trusting relationships, collaborate well with others, and have a strategic perspective while ensuring that changes work in practice.
We are looking for you who have
