Are you a medical secretary and want to work with us in a central role at a pleasant and well-functioning clinic?
BUP Neuropsychiatry West consists of a work group with just over 30 employees. The clinic's mission is to conduct investigations of neuropsychiatric disabilities. We also provide pharmacological treatment for ADHD. Here, psychologists, medical secretaries, doctors, nurses, deputy unit manager, and unit manager work together. In addition to wanting to do the job as well as possible and increase accessibility to care for our target group, we work on building a well-functioning workplace where we thrive and have the opportunity to develop the business together.
BUP Stockholm Section Neuropsychiatry consists of 'One Way In', as well as six neuropsychiatric clinics so far, located in Sickla, Solna, Älvsjö, Mörby, and Brommaplan.
Job Description
The tasks involve working with the unit's administrative flows, primarily related to our patients but also staff and economy. Together with colleagues, you will work to ensure we smoothly call our patients via TakeCare and Alltid öppet. You handle incoming referrals, digital and postal booking/invitations, and rescheduling/cancellations.
The work may also include handling orders and invoices, receiving and processing incoming calls via the telephone system TeleQ, and working in the personnel administration system Heroma. Medical secretaries also write medical dictations and coordinate investigation times to contribute to investigations being carried out efficiently and smoothly for the patients. The work may also involve staffing the reception and answering questions from patients and guardians visiting the clinic.
As the administration of the clinics develops, the tasks for medical secretaries are adapted and renewed to facilitate patients receiving the right care at the right time as much as possible.
Qualifications
A degree from medical secretary training is required. Experience working in the medical record system TakeCare is also required. You are comfortable handling new digital systems and solutions and see the benefits of digital technology available to patients.
It is an advantage if you have experience from child and adolescent psychiatric activities, and the systems Pastill (care administration) and TeleQ (telephone system).
Personal Qualities
As a person, you are self-reliant and can work independently, while being service-oriented and having excellent teamwork skills. To handle the assignment, you need to be solution-oriented, work efficiently, ensure all tasks are performed in a professional manner, and want to contribute to a good working climate in the work group and a good reception of patients and relatives. You enjoy development, improvement of administrative processes, and can handle a build-up phase where routines and tasks change.
