Are you an analytical team player who wants to help shape the future of decision support? We are now looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join Spendrups, where you will work with their new analytics platform in a business-close and developmental role. About the role

Spendrups is a genuine family-owned company, driven into its fourth generation with several family members as active driving forces at the heart of the business. The organization includes 1,100 employees working in Grängesberg, Hällefors, Visby, Stockholm, and at all terminals and sales offices around Sweden. Their core business lies in their breweries, where they produce world-class beer, as well as soft drinks, mineral water, etc.

As a BI Analyst, you will develop and maintain reports and dashboards, primarily using Power BI. You will perform analysis to identify trends and patterns and work closely with colleagues throughout the company to understand how you can help them leverage their data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Identify trends and patterns in how data can be used within the company
  • Interpret SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
  • Work with semantic data models
  • Collaborate with different departments to understand data needs
  • Act as a sounding board for data-related questions
  • Present analysis results and recommendations

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a university or vocational higher education degree in computer science, statistics, economics, or a related field.
  • Has good knowledge of Power BI to create interactive dashboards
  • Has good knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases
  • Has experience with data mining and analysis tools
  • Understands semantic data models
  • Has good communication skills and the ability to collaborate
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
