Senior Contract Specialist for Consulting Assignment

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Senior Contract Specialist for a longer-term consulting assignment. The assignment covers approximately 75–100% and offers the opportunity to work in a business where contract management, commercial awareness, and development are in focus.

About the Role

As a Contract Specialist, you are responsible for managing, following up on, and developing one or more major service agreements. You have overall responsibility for contract management, supplier control, and follow-up, ensuring that the delivery develops in line with the business's goals and needs.

The role combines strategic and operational work and involves close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You act as a key link between the business and the suppliers, contributing to developing collaborations, creating structure, and ensuring high quality in deliveries.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Manage, follow up on, and develop major contracts.
• Ensure that deliveries meet agreed goals, quality requirements, and financial conditions.
• Lead follow-up and collaboration meetings with suppliers.
• Handle contract issues, change cases, and deviations.
• Identify and drive improvement and development initiatives.
• Produce analyses and decision support materials related to quality, economy, and business development.
• Coordinate various stakeholders and represent the buyer's interests in dialogue with suppliers.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience in contract management (FM contracts), supplier control, or similar roles.
• Experience working with large contracts and complex deliveries.
• A good understanding of following up on quality, economy, and key performance indicators.
• The ability to interpret contracts, drive improvement work, and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• A commercial approach to work and very good communication skills.
