Technical Project Manager in Electrical & Control and Mechanics & Process

We are looking for technical project managers who want to take responsibility for technical content and coordination in complex projects. This role is ideal for you if you thrive in a technically demanding environment and want to work closely with both technology and operations.

We currently have a very high workload in our project operations and therefore need to strengthen the team in Finspång with additional technical resources. The assignments are initially planned for approximately one year, with the possibility of extension depending on needs and project development.

We are looking for technical project managers with a technical background in:

• Electrical & Control
• Mechanics & Process

The roles have similar responsibilities and working methods, but with different technical focuses.

About the Role

As a Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for the technical project management in large and complex gas turbine projects. You drive and coordinate technical work within your area of responsibility and ensure that technical requirements, solutions, and deliveries align with contracts and project goals.

The projects often contain technical solutions that are not fully standardized, which requires a structured yet flexible approach and strong technical understanding. You work in close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal functions, representing Siemens Energy in technical dialogues with external parties.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical work in electrical, control, mechanics, and process
• Ensure that technical and contractual requirements are implemented correctly
• Drive and follow up on design work, both internally and externally
• Handle technical issues, changes, and trade-offs in the project
• Ensure delivery according to schedule, quality, and set goals

Who You Are

You are accustomed to working independently and have the ability to handle multiple parallel tasks. You combine technical depth with a business perspective and take responsibility for driving technical issues forward. You enjoy collaborating with others and contribute to clear communication and good structure in projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from a technical university or college
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in technical projects
• Experience in technical project management or leading technical roles
• Ability to communicate and collaborate at different organizational levels
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
• Experience from the energy industry is an advantage
• Good proficiency in Swedish and good proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
