If you want to be part of developing the next generation of technical management in a rapidly growing and entrepreneurial real estate company, this is your opportunity!
Cavendo aims to be the market leader in active management and is taking the next step by establishing Technical Management as an integrated business area within the company.
As a Junior Technical Manager, you will play a central role in driving value creation in Cavendo's real estate portfolio by working integratively with our Technical Managers and ensuring that administrative, operational, and coordinating tasks regarding property ownership responsibilities, regulatory requirements, maintenance, follow-up, and reporting are performed efficiently.
The role is also intended as a development platform for future technical managers within the organization, with the opportunity to gradually take greater responsibility in investment, procurement, and strategic technical management. Cavendo's organization is characterized by business acumen and short decision-making paths. The position is located in Stockholm.
Your role as Junior Technical Manager
You work comprehensively with our property portfolio – not tied to specific properties – with overall responsibility to ensure that administrative, operational, and coordinating tasks are performed with high quality and consistency across the entire portfolio in Stockholm.
- The role requires you to drive parallel processes and projects ranging from regulatory requirements and contract administration to energy monitoring and project handovers, while creating structure and order. You are the link between technical managers, consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- You report to the Asset Manager and work closely with Technical Managers in daily operations. Together, you form a cohesive management team where your contribution is crucial for the team to focus on long-term development, net operating income optimization, and value creation.
- The role includes:
- Coordinating authority inspections, controls, and systematic fire safety work (SBA).
- Administering contracts, tenders, and supplier follow-up.
- Serving as the contact point for operation contractors and technical consultants.
- Responsible for data collection, reporting, and quality assurance in management and energy systems.
- Preparing and quality-assuring materials for OPEX, energy, and sustainability reports.
- Driving administrative and analytical follow-up of OPEX and CAPEX budgeting, as well as supporting centralized tenders.
- Ensuring handover from construction and technical projects to management: documentation, warranty management, and final inspections.
- Participating in the development of processes, templates, and routines for technical management.
Your profile
We are looking for you who thrive on creating structure in complex flows and who take as much responsibility for the details as for the whole. You are self-reliant, analytical, and unpretentious, approaching administrative tasks and strategic questions with the same commitment and precision.
You have a natural drive to improve and streamline workflows, and you thrive in an environment where the pace is high and no day is like the other. You communicate effortlessly with both contractors and authorities as well as with internal colleagues, and you quickly build trust through your structured approach and focus on delivery.
The role suits you if you are ambitious and development-oriented, and who in the long term has the potential and desire to grow into the role of Technical Manager.
Qualifications:
- University education in property, construction, or engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical or construction project administration or operational coordination.
- Strong analytical skills and interest in the connection between technology, economics, and business value.
- Good economic understanding and interest in budget follow-up and investment planning.
- Structured, precise, and solution-oriented with the ability to handle and drive parallel processes.
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
Experience with property systems, energy monitoring tools, and supplier portals is a plus.
We offer
You step into a role where the structure is not yet set – you are part of building it from the ground up. Here you get a unique opportunity to shape both the role and the Technical Management business area.
Cavendo is a company where decisions are made close to the operations. With 17 employees and a portfolio worth 11 billion SEK, you get a combination that is rarely found: institutional scale and entrepreneurial freedom. Your ideas do not meet a long internal process – they meet a decision. For more information, visit our website: Cavendo - Real estate investment management (http://www.cavendo.se).
