About the role

At Gemit Solutions, colleagues gather to develop the company forward, interspersed with coffee breaks to discuss everything under the sun. The team consists largely of civil engineers. In this role, you will work closely with the company's Key Account Manager (KAM) to structure, develop, and maintain the company's customer relationships. You will also ensure that customers get maximum value from the system during their critical startup phase.
We are now looking for you who have an engineering background and want to work more with customer relations, advisory services, and structure. Since the work requires technical understanding and the ability to work independently and quickly, we are looking for someone who is likely a civil engineer at heart. Experience with systems like Jira and Trello is a big plus. It is important that you can speak the same language as the customers to understand their needs and help them succeed. You should be a naturally structured, cheerful, and "crisp" person driven by bringing projects to completion.

Responsibilities
As a Customer Success Engineer at Gemit, you will take responsibility for customers after the business deal is completed. You ensure they get started correctly during their first year and act as the connecting link between the customer, product team, and development. As a valued employee at Gemit, you will:
- Drive and be responsible for the onboarding journey of new customers from handover to active use.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead customer-specific training, workshops, and webinars.
- Structure and build the customer journey operationally (e.g., in Jira and Trello) to keep track of all customer activities, module changes, and updates.
- Act as the customer's main point of contact, hold implementation projects together, and ensure they are driven to completion without stopping.
- Capture customer needs in daily work, demo new features/modules, and bounce commercial opportunities off to the sales team.
We are looking for you who
- Have a technical university education as a Civil Engineer (e.g., in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Energy, Process, or similar).
- Have approx. 1–3 years of work experience from process industry, manufacturing, energy, or similar system-heavy environments where you have gained good system and process understanding.
- Have a genuine interest in digitalization and the ability to quickly get up to speed with new digital tools.
- Have a natural ability to create order, structure processes, and drive activities forward.
- Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
Gemit Solutions' customer base has previously been predominantly within water and wastewater, but since customers are now streaming in from several new industries (such as energy and life science), your general civil engineering background and methodology are decisive, rather than specific water/wastewater competence.
