We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to successfully deliver a project for a new battery system. You will lead an R&D project currently in a phase focused on development, testing, and industrialization. You will lead a cross-functional team consisting of mechanical, hardware, software, and test engineers, as well as procurement specialists.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation (personnel and finance).
• Lead project meetings and coordinate the project team to ensure effective collaboration and clear communication.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• Ensure project deliverables meet specifications, quality standards, and business objectives.
• Drive projects according to established processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the project team.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Has a relevant university degree or Master of Science in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Has at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably within marine operations, shipyards, defense industry, or other technically complex environments.
• Has experience leading cross-functional project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Has excellent communication skills and proficiency in negotiation and problem-solving.
• Is fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Experience working in a startup environment and/or within the battery industry is considered a plus.

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by Friday. The assignment initially runs until January 2027, with good prospects for extension.
