We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager within local and property projects for a long-term assignment with a larger public sector organization.
This assignment is suitable for you who have solid experience in driving local projects from the early stages to completion, with responsibility for schedules, budgets, resources, communication, and results. The projects cover both smaller local adaptations and larger establishments of administrative premises, such as offices and storage operations.
In the role, you will lead and coordinate local and property projects in line with a long-term local supply strategy. You will work closely with program management, steering groups, operations, property owners, and contractors.
Examples of tasks
You will among other things:
- conduct local searches for new establishments and expansion of areas
- conduct rent negotiations with landlords
- develop need descriptions and specifications
- be responsible for schedules, budgets, resources, calculations, and results
- monitor and report project progress to program management and steering groups
- compile final reports and hand over to operations/line
- manage risks and ensure progress according to decided procedures
- act as a bridge between tenant, property owner, and contractor
- contribute to strategic work related to local programs and local projects
We are looking for someone who has
- completed civil engineering education in road and water construction, community planning, architecture, or land surveying
- at least 10 years of experience as a project manager
- at least 5 years of experience in project management regarding tenant adaptation of commercial premises or offices
- at least 5 years of experience in line work or process development related to property and local projects
- experience in driving at least two local projects from early stages to completion
- experience in rental law, rent negotiations, and review of rental agreements
- experience in acting as a tenant representative in local projects
- experience in projects within security-sensitive operations
- experience in reporting and creating decision support materials for steering and management groups
Meritorious
It is meritorious if you have:
- worked on office projects for tenants within the public sector during the last five years
- worked in security-sensitive operations during the last three years
- worked on strategic issues related to local programs and local projects
- been involved in developing local supply strategies or similar governing documents
Personal qualities
To succeed in the role, we see that you are self-motivated, structured, and confident in your project management role. You have good collaboration skills, are clear in your communication, and have an easy time building trust with different stakeholders. The role requires both strategic height and practical implementation power.
Assignment information
Start: October 10, 2026 to October 9, 2028
Scope: 60–80 %
Location: Sundbyberg, with the possibility of some remote work
Assignment length: 2 years with the possibility of extension
Travel within Sweden may occur.
Security clearance and register control are required before the assignment can begin.
