Together with our client, we are now looking for a Global Distribution Coordinator to join an engaged team of 12 people. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring that the company's logistics flow runs as planned and that products are delivered on time, with the correct documentation and in proper condition.
About the Role
You will become part of Global Supply Chain Operations and be responsible for our client's distribution activities via their central warehouse in the Netherlands as well as 18 local warehouses in Europe, the USA, Canada, and Australia.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordination of customer orders: order receipt, batch reservation, activation of picking and packing at the warehouse, booking of transport, creation of export/import documentation, tracking of shipments, handling of returns, problem-solving, and invoicing.
- Qualification and setup of new customers.
- Monthly reconciliation of sales and inventory.
- Continuous process improvement work to ensure robustness and future growth.
- Management of pre-wholesale and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Quality assurance work (deviations, CAPA, quality plans, alerts regarding serial numbers).
We are looking for someone who
- Has post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, export administration, or business economics.
- Has previous documented work experience in logistics and/or customer service, where experience from the pharmaceutical industry is a plus but not a requirement.
- Is accustomed to working in business systems (ERP), MS Office, and Microsoft Teams.
- Has very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written; other languages are an asset.
Previous experience with GDP (Good Distribution Practice), financial, and trade-specific regulations is advantageous (internal training is provided).
We place great emphasis on personal qualities, as the client values teamwork and well-being highly. To succeed in the role, we see that you are a team player with a structured and professional approach to work, as well as a genuine service mindset. You thrive with many contact surfaces, both internally and externally, and are eager to take own initiatives to drive improvements when processes break down. You are solution-oriented, have an easy time prioritizing, and work with a strong result focus. Additionally, you have a good ability to plan and manage your time, both for short-term tasks and long-term goals. You will join a high-performing operation that sets high demands, but which also offers a robust induction program and internal development opportunities.
About the Partner Company
The company is an international business with its headquarters in Sweden and has a clear niche in the distribution of highly specialized products. The operations are characterized by high quality requirements, traceability, and a strong focus on deliveries being correct, on time, and with the right documentation. The company has a global presence and works with an extensive logistics network that includes both central and local warehouse solutions in Europe, North America, and Australia.
The work environment is professional and dynamic, where structure, collaboration, and continuous improvements are at the center. The role is particularly suitable for you who have experience from logistics, supply chain, or customer service in an international context, preferably in a business with high demands on documentation and regulatory compliance – even if it is not within the pharmaceutical industry.
