The payroll team is part of the finance department, which is part of Granitor Electro's staff. Most of our payroll employees work at the office in Sandviken. Our way of working is based on the "one door in" principle for both managers and employees – where cases and telephone support are handled within the team. We are a development-oriented group that continuously reviews and improves our processes to create modern and efficient payroll work.

Right now, we at Granitor Electro are looking for an engaged payroll administrator for our payroll team. You will become an important part of a knowledgeable and cohesive team that plays a central role in the company's continued development journey. Does this sound interesting? Read more below!

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for salaries and benefits for Granitor's employees – together, the team handles around 3,000 payrolls per month, primarily for Granitor Electro, but also for several other companies in the group in Sweden. Granitor has approximately 70 different local offices in the country.

In the role, you work broadly with employment-related questions, holidays, sick leave, and ensure that operations comply with current collective agreements, laws, and regulations. Together with colleagues in the payroll team, you develop our payroll support and service towards the company's managers and employees. This can involve everything from various payroll processes to digitalization and system improvements in the payroll area.

The position is located in Sandviken, where there is some possibility of hybrid work. The entire finance and payroll department will move to new premises in Gävle in the autumn of 2027, where the new workplace will be.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in payroll administration and similar tasks, as well as a relevant vocational or university education in payroll. You have good knowledge of reading and interpreting collective agreements, and it is an advantage if you have experience with agreements such as the Installation Agreement, IF Metall, and Unionens tjänstemannaavtal.

You have a good basic system proficiency and an interest in understanding how our work processes interact within the payroll system and its integrations to other systems. You see digitalization and AI as opportunities, and you have a genuine commitment to development and improvement. If you have experience with Agda or Unit4, it is an advantage.

To fit into this role, it is important that you enjoy working in a team and find it easy to collaborate with others. You are a social and outgoing person who always strives to deliver top-class service to our managers and employees.
