In the autumn of 2021, Ebba Brahe Gymnasium opened its doors on Kvarnholmen. Our vision is to provide world-class education and give our students the best knowledge development in Sweden. The keywords for Ebba Brahe are academic striving, community, and study environment, which permeate the entire operation.

We are welcoming four additional classes to Year 1 for the autumn term 2026, specializing in Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics, and Economics-Law. In total, approximately 380 students are expected to attend the school next academic year.

For the start of the autumn term 2026, we are looking for a special needs teacher/special educator at 50% employment.

As the school grows gradually, there is a possibility that the scope of the position may be increased in the future.

Your profile

You will be part of the school's Student Health Team (SHT), together with the principal, school nurse, counselor, school psychologist, school doctor, and study and career counselor.

You coordinate the work with pedagogical assessments, action plans, and adaptations. Furthermore, you provide special pedagogical guidance to teachers, establish the school's work with study strategies at the school level for our students, and meet with individual students in need of planning support when necessary.

You are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and curious, and are happy to share your knowledge with your colleagues. You are passionate about good results and thrive in a changing environment where initiative is highly valued.

We would prefer that you have experience working as a special needs teacher/special educator at the upper secondary level, but we also welcome applicants with other special pedagogical competence. Personal suitability is prioritized.

The School and Kvarnholmen

The school is located on Kvarnholmen in fresh facilities close to forests and the sea. There are good connections to Kvarnholmen, and you can reach it by bus from Slussen in about 15 minutes. It is also possible to take a boat from Nybroplan or Lidingö, which takes you to Kvarnholmen in 20 minutes.
