The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. About Segeltorpsskolan

Segeltorpsskolan is a school from grade 4 to grade 9 with open after-school care up to age 12. There are approximately 700 students at the school.

Segeltorpsskolan is located in northern Huddinge between Fruängen and Kungens Kurva. The proximity to the city and nature creates good opportunities for the children and their learning and development.

Segeltorpsskolan's basic view is that people have the will to develop but that we have different conditions and ways of doing it. All our students should discover the joy of acquiring knowledge. We are characterized by a desire to constantly develop for the better where knowledge and security are at the center. The school's goal is to become the best school for Huddinge with safe and independent individuals.

About the job

You will teach Spanish as a second language (Spanish B). The position is 50% in total. The position is a temporary substitute position. The appointment date is August 11, 2026, or as agreed. The position runs until Spring Term 2027.

Being a teacher and professional pedagogue in Huddinge Municipality means that you have high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their conditions. You create good relationships, both with students and with guardians, built on trust and respect. You are aware of your own influence on students' learning. Based on student results, research, and proven experience, you follow up on the quality of teaching, reflect, and evaluate with the aim of developing teaching.

Your profile

You have a teacher education in Spanish or equivalent.

You are flexible and have good cooperation skills, are good at creating good relationships and collaborating with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school leadership. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader and in the classroom, you have the ability to create a working environment characterized by security, trust, and respect. With good didactic skills, good subject knowledge, a clear structure, and with varied teaching adapted to the individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to meet the knowledge requirements in LGR22.

You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work. You have good ability to analyze and reflect and constantly develop your teaching. You see yourself as a natural part of creating good conditions for students' learning and have an inclusive approach.
