Temporary Position: Teacher Grades 4–6 – Nakterhusskolan

Nakterhusskolan in Vega is a relatively new school that opened in the autumn of 2020. By next autumn, we will have approximately 520 students from preschool class to grade 6, along with an engaged team of 64 employees working together to create a school where students thrive, feel safe, and have good conditions for development.

For the academic year 2026–2027, we are now looking for a mentor for grade 4. We are looking for you who want to be part of an operation where relationships, responsibility, and collaboration are important parts of everyday life, and where we help each other create structure, study peace, and a positive school environment for both students and adults.

Here, there is a strong commitment to the school's mission, but also an understanding that truly good operations are built together, step by step. As a relatively new school, we are still developing parts of our operations, which also means opportunities to contribute ideas, experience, and perspectives.

Nakterhusskolan is centrally located in Vega with a commuter train station within walking distance. Our facilities are modern and well-equipped, including a library, gymnasium, music room, craft rooms, and a cooking kitchen.

The Role

As a teacher in grades 4–6, you will:

• plan and conduct teaching with high expectations for all students
• work language-developing in all subjects with a focus on students' language and concept development
• build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students succeed
• collaborate in work teams and contribute to the school's joint development work

We are looking for you who

• are a certified teacher for grades 4–6 with broad subject competence, requiring competence in mathematics and English
• have a great interest in mathematics teaching and mathematics development
• have clear relational leadership in the classroom
• want to work cross-subject
• enjoy collaboration and want to help develop the operations
