The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Description of duties
We are now looking for a primary school teacher for after-school care in the upcoming grade 2. The grade has two classes, and the work team currently includes two class teachers, a student assistant, and a preschool/school-age educator. We are now looking for another colleague who is a qualified primary school teacher for after-school care and who will be part of the work team. As a primary school teacher for after-school care, you have overall pedagogical responsibility for planning, implementation, and follow-up. You have high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their prerequisites. You build good relationships, both with students and guardians, based on trust and respect. You are aware of your own impact on student learning. Based on student results, research, and proven experience, you follow up on the quality of teaching, reflect, and evaluate with the aim of developing teaching. You give forward-looking feedback to students with the aim of development and support students in need of special support. We work with collegial learning, which means that you collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself and your teaching as well as the school's pedagogical work. As a primary school teacher for after-school care at Vistaskolan, you are part of a work team. Some important priority areas are to develop work regarding students' learning environment, collaboration, and the development of recess activities. You will work together with other colleagues in a grade, where you together lead the teaching based on the curriculum and the school's operation plan. In grades F-3/lower primary school at Vistaskolan, we have a full-day perspective and weave together teaching in preschool class with teaching in after-school care. You will be involved in the entire day's teaching.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a degree as a primary school teacher for after-school care or as a preschool/school-age educator and have a license for teaching in after-school care. The person we are looking for must also have documented experience working as a primary school teacher for after-school care.
You have experience planning, implementing, and evaluating work based on the curriculum and other regulatory documents. You are a driving person who has the ability to take initiative and carry out a whole process together with the work team. You have good cooperation skills and easily bring other staff along with you in the work towards common goals. You enjoy sharing your experiences and knowledge and are open to new ways of working. You are flexible and have good cooperation skills, easily create good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school management. You should be calm, secure, and stable and have the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. In your pedagogical leadership, you have the ability to create a work environment characterized by security, trust, and respect. With good didactic skills, good subject knowledge, a clear structure, and varied teaching adapted to the individual student, you create the best conditions for our students.
