Our Operations

Brunn School is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with approximately 525 students. The school is located on Ingarö, a 30-minute bus ride from Slussen. The school works with digital tools and has a very good digital infrastructure.

With respect – joy – participation, we work with our focus areas: study culture, improving reading and writing skills, mathematics, as well as AI and source criticism. You will have a fantastic job with freedom under responsibility, meeting students, parents, and professional colleagues.

Your Role

You will work with students individually, in groups, or in classes together with various subject teachers. You will work in our regular classes and in our special education groups based on EHT's resource allocation. You will become an important member of the school's student health team.

Värmdö Municipality uses Vklass as a tool in planning and follow-up work, as well as in contact with guardians.

Your Experience

We are looking for you who have a teaching license in Swedish for grades 6-9, and a special education degree with a focus on language, writing, and reading development, and preferably also training in mathematics. You have a strong interest in teaching development and the ability to create varied and accessible teaching for everyone. You always have the students' development and learning in focus, and you understand the importance of good relationships with all students.

You have experience leading and supervising pedagogical staff, and have good communicative skills in spoken and written Swedish. You contribute to high quality in investigations, action plans, and follow-ups, and collaborate closely with class teachers, work teams, and the student health team.

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are sensitive to the students' needs, clear, respectful, and have a great ability to collaborate with both our students and the adults at the school. You are a driven and engaged teacher who likes to challenge and be challenged, and who has high expectations for your students.

You are good at structuring teaching at both group and individual levels, and you have good collaboration skills regarding both staff and students and guardians. You are flexible, efficient, and see opportunities when it is difficult. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate and contribute collegially with your knowledge and competence.

We place great emphasis on social competencies and personal suitability.
