About the Role

Mycronic is a Swedish global high-tech company with the vision of being the most reliable partner to the creators of tomorrow's electronics. We have developed and manufactured machines for electronics and display manufacturing for over 50 years. We continue to grow within an expanding range of industries, and the Pattern Generator (PG) division holds a unique market position as the world's leading supplier of mask writers for the production of advanced photomasks. These masks are used in the manufacturing of high-resolution screens and microprocessors. All high-resolution screens you see – whether TV, phone, tablet, Apple Watch, etc. – have Mycronic's machines as part of the manufacturing process.

As a Production Product Engineer, you will belong to a larger department of 18 employees with broad responsibilities in product technology, process technology, production planning, test development, logistics development, customs, trade compliance, and project management within industrialization. You will collaborate with most functions within your own department, but primarily cross-functionally with, for example, the production teams and R&D. Responsibilities

Production within the PG division is currently divided into different areas: Component Production of Electronics, Final Assembly, Spare Parts Production, R&D Production, and Warehouse. You will work towards one of these areas as your department functions as a support function to production. Your main task is to ensure that the product meets technical requirements throughout the entire manufacturing chain, with a focus on the internal production process. You act as a key link between design and production by reviewing new introductions before they are implemented in production. You contribute with an understanding of both the product and the manufacturing process.

The role also involves actively working to develop and improve these processes over time, with the vision of a disruption-free production during product introductions. You will play an important role at Mycronic where you not only contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement, but also take responsibility for driving them all the way from initiative to implemented solution. Thanks to short decision-making paths and the fact that the area is still under development, this is truly a role where you have the opportunity to influence.

Examples of what you will do include:

• Providing support in production technology issues to keep production running and handling other product-related issues within the production area.
• Acting as the department's representative in cross-functional forums regarding product introductions and design changes.
• Ensuring that the product meets drawing requirements and quality requirements through reviews.
• Designing the build sequence for production.
• Creating and standardizing processes to ensure compliance.
• Identifying deviations, conducting root cause analyses, and contributing to new solutions.
• Conducting and supporting risk analyses and risk assessments.
• Being part of the Local Management Team, where strategic decisions are made together with the department head, Team Leaders, Process Engineer, and Planning.

Who We Are Looking For

Furthermore, you have:

• An academic education in mechanics, electronics, or equivalent.
• Several years of work experience in production technology and/or design.
• In-depth understanding of the product introduction process.
• Strong skills in the Office suite (e.g., good proficiency in Excel and visualizing ideas and facts with, for example, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of relevant standards, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610 & SS-EN IEC 61340-5-½.
• Good skills in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in the work.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Good knowledge of ARAS & Jira.
• Experience and competence in health and safety issues.
• Experience driving larger introduction projects as a technical lead.
