About the Workplace

The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a secure educational environment. Here, all our employees play an important role in the implementation.

Tomtbergaskolan is a modern F-6 school in the center of Huddinge with approximately 480 students. Since our new construction and renovation were completed in autumn 2021, we operate in fantastic, inspiring premises with, among other things, bright common areas, a mini-auditorium, and a developmental outdoor environment – all to create the best conditions for learning and community.

About the Work

As a teacher in Huddinge Municipality, you translate the school's curriculum into your daily work, among other things with the help of pedagogical documentation. Together with your colleagues, you create conditions for the children's learning and development by supporting the individual child, challenging norms, and working actively against discrimination. In the work as a pedagogue, care, upbringing, and learning form a whole.

The position involves teaching in grades 4–6 combined with work in smaller teaching groups for students who need extra support.

• You work systematically with follow-up and analysis of students' learning

To ensure you thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you are a certified teacher in grades 4–6.

Experience in teaching in smaller teaching groups is meritorious.

The position is full-time 100%, desired start date 10/8 or as agreed.
