Job Description

Yrkesgymnasiet Väsby is looking for an inspiring upper secondary teacher in History and Social Studies to strengthen our team and offer our students a challenging and inspiring education. The position is for 70% of a full-time role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Wants to teach your subject areas in an inspiring way and has solid subject competence in History and Social Studies.
• Is engaged in the role of your subjects in society and communicates this to the students.
• Keeps up to date with the latest developments in your subject area and wants to teach in a realistic and subject-integrated manner.
• Wants to create inspiring and adapted teaching that challenges and develops the students, while building trusting relationships with both students and colleagues.
• Plans, documents, and conducts your teaching in accordance with the guidelines regulated by the steering documents for upper secondary school in the Swedish National Agency for Education's course plans.
• The position also includes mentorship duties.

Qualifications

You have a teaching degree and teacher certification, as well as solid subject competence in history and social studies.
