About the preschool

Forskolan Pärlan is a small preschool in central Mora with a family-friendly atmosphere. Here, two preschool teachers, one childcare worker, and a kitchen assistant work together. Pärlan consists of only one department with 18 children of mixed ages and is a limited company run by Centrumkyrkan.

At Pärlan, we follow the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschool, Lpfö18, and we work daily in teaching groups with the children. We are inspired by Generation Pep, which means that movement and physical activity play a large and important role in our operations. We also place great emphasis on security and clear pedagogical approaches.

Since the preschool is centrally located, we are within walking distance of libraries, playgrounds, and nature in the surrounding area.

About the job

We are looking for you who are trained as a childcare worker (barnskötare). You must have a childcare education, a complete upper secondary school diploma in child and youth activities, or another pedagogical education assessed as equivalent.

As a childcare worker, you are an important part of the pedagogical team, working closely with our two preschool teachers. In your role as a childcare worker, you participate in planning, developing, and conducting the pedagogical activities to create a secure and inspiring environment combined with good teaching.

Requirements:

• Other: The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide a certificate of no criminal record from the police before employment begins.
