About the Role

The Social Services Administration in Marks Municipality is responsible for operations within elderly care, municipal health care, disability support, and individual and family care.

As an Investigator with a legal focus, you will belong to the administrative unit of the Social Services Administration. On this unit, we work cross-administratively to support all operations within the administration. Your closest colleagues include, among others, board secretaries, registrars, and administrative case handlers, and you will be led by the administrative manager.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Social Services Administration's development unit as well as all operations within the administration.

You will become part of a cheerful, competent, and helpful team that contributes to the development and quality of the operations.

Responsibilities

As an Investigator with a legal focus, you will, together with a colleague, have a cross-administrative assignment where you provide qualified legal advice to employees, managers, and boards. This involves both independent work and close collaboration with the administration's operations.

In the role, you will among other things:

  • Conduct investigations and prepare decision materials for the board
  • Provide support and guidance on legal issues and in the interpretation of laws and regulations
  • Support the administration in preparing and implementing new laws and regulations
  • Be the legal competence in processes and work within the administration
  • Prepare statements for courts and supervisory authorities
  • Represent the board in legal processes where specific legal expertise is required

Qualifications

We are looking for you with an academic degree, preferably in law, combined with broad experience in legal work within the social services sector.

You have good knowledge of social services law and the legal area of the public sector.

It is meritorious if you have experience working in a politically governed organization and in driving processes in court.

As a person, you are communicative and have an easy time building trusting relationships. You have good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. You can explain complex legal issues in a clear and pedagogical manner. You work in a structured way, take responsibility for your assignment, and enjoy working both independently and in close collaboration with others. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
