YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Translate these into strategic insights for business decisions and relevant actions. In this role, you enable Ingka to engage early, influence, and contribute to conversations leading to, for example, new or changed legislation, safeguarding conditions for future growth.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Identify early risks and opportunities by systematically scanning and tracking regulatory, policy, trade, geopolitical, and societal developments across the EU and Breakthrough markets, as well as other markets on an as-needed basis. Build and maintain a structured overview of emerging risks and assess how they can impact our operations, expansion, growth plans, and brand positioning.
  • Provide forward-looking scenarios and insights to the business. Identify early risks and opportunities by developing clear scenarios to understand potential outcomes and business impacts of suggested or planned legislative changes. Furthermore, translate complex regulatory and policy developments into simple and actionable insights for GM and leadership teams, enabling informed and timely discussions and actions.
  • Strengthen and support strategic decision-making (e.g., expansion, investment, restructuring, sustainability commitments) with external risk analysis, stakeholder mapping, and policy impact assessments, ensuring that external realities are taken into consideration.
  • Enable proactive Public Affairs engagement by providing timely and relevant insights, analysis, and recommendations needed to influence relevant dialogues. Thereby contribute to the development of the policy agenda in areas critical to Ingka’s growth and IKEA brand trust.
