The Business Area (VO) Adult Psychiatry in Helsingborg consists of both outpatient services and inpatient wards. The specialist psychiatry's mission is to provide assessment, investigation, and treatment for individuals with complex psychiatric issues, acting as a interface with primary care. Our catchment area covers ten municipalities in northwestern Scania. Here, patients with affective disorders, anxiety conditions, various personality syndromes, and neuropsychiatric conditions are primarily assessed and treated. The clinic in Helsingborg is at the forefront of development and works with team-based care. You will therefore have the opportunity to work with and contribute to psychiatric care characterized by collaboration, openness, and quality. The clinic consists of approximately 35 employees from various professional categories, including receptionists, medical secretaries, doctors, nurses, counselors, psychologists, occupational therapists, rehab coordinators, care assistants, assistant nurses, and unit managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a new psychologist colleague to join our clinic on Drottninggatan in Helsingborg.

In your role as a psychologist with us, you will, among other things, conduct diagnostic assessments, investigations, and treatments. You will work with both individual and group therapy to offer patients the best possible care based on their conditions. Furthermore, you will also work on professional joint assessments together with your colleagues in other professions, some acute follow-ups, and suicide preventive visits.

We offer supervision, and as a new employee, you will receive an individually adapted introduction.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed psychologist with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Additionally, you must have a valid B driver's license. It is desirable that you have several years of experience in general psychiatric patient work. It is also positive if you have an interest in working with a broader focus and standardized care processes.

The applicant has a great commitment to their work and the ability to see the patient as an individual and identify their needs. As a person, you are open, curious, flexible, and view new challenges and change work as something positive. Furthermore, we also see that you have the ability to take initiative and have a good ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
