The Neurology Clinic belongs to the care unit Neurological Care and is part of the Medical Operations area at CSK. We are a specialist clinic for patients who are investigated and treated for neurological diseases. The largest diagnostic groups are Epilepsy, MS, ALS, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and migraine. With the patient at the center, we work in cross-professional teams consisting of doctors, nurses, and medical secretaries. We also have physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and speech therapists. The Neurology Clinic shares premises with the Medicine Clinic at CSK.

CSK is the emergency hospital for northern-eastern Scania. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and engaged staff. With the resources of a large hospital and the proximity and cohesion of a smaller hospital, CSK offers the inhabitants of the catchment area care in all specialties. We have approximately 2,600 employees.

Job Description

In the role of a nurse at the Neurology Clinic, you have your own nurse clinic with both patient visits and telephone follow-ups. You staff our telephone advice service and rotate to our infusion clinic where our patient groups come to receive treatment. In your work, you also have team visits, 1177, time booking, register management, and advice to other operations, as well as other usual nursing tasks.

To help you get into the operation and your role in the best way, we offer you an introduction adapted to your previous experience and needs.

Working hours at the clinic are during daytime.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a registered nurse with permission to work in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. It is meritorious if you have previous experience within neurology and an interest in Parkinson's.

We are looking for you with good organizational skills and foresight, while you easily can adapt and prioritize your work when an acute situation arises.
