Workplace Description
Emma Niméus is the Principal Investigator (PI) for the research group, which includes clinical doctoral students and technical staff at BMC and Medicon Village. One of the group's focuses is the immunohistochemical assessment of breast cancer markers.

We are now looking for a licensed biomedical analyst for a 10% position, from 2026-08-01 to 2027-01-31.

Tasks and Responsibilities
As a biomedical analyst in the research group, your primary tasks will include:
- Assessment of immunohistochemical breast cancer markers using image analysis software.
- Exporting results from the assessment and handling the data.
- Centering templates over samples (de-array) in the form of scanned histology images in the image analysis software.
Other tasks within the research group may also become relevant.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position are:
- You must be a licensed biomedical analyst.
- Experience working with the assessment of immunohistochemical stains.
- Very good skills in Excel.
Qualifications that would be considered an advantage:
- Experience working with image analysis software and microscopy.
- Experience working with the assessment of breast cancer.
Other Information
The employment is a fixed-term appointment (SÄVA) at 10% for 6 months. The desired start date is August 1, 2026, or as agreed.
