Your role

You plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching together with your work team to create conditions for students' knowledge development and a good learning environment based on the school's steering documents. You educate and support the students in their knowledge-based and social development as well as their democratic attitude. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, reflect on their own learning, and take responsibility for themselves and others.

Your knowledge and experience

Certified primary school teacher with qualifications up to grade 6.

Experience working in an adapted primary school is an advantage.

A special education teacher's degree with a focus on intellectual disability is an advantage.

We want you to be flexible and have good collaboration skills, both with staff and parents. You should also have the ability to develop the work based on the assignment.

Your future workplace

The adapted primary school in Vara Municipality consists of 32 students distributed across five classes. Two classes study subject areas, one lower secondary class, one middle secondary class, and one upper secondary class that studies specific subjects.

Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis.
