Job Responsibilities

Do you have an interest, willingness, and engagement to work with children? Do you enjoy taking responsibility, and can you step in with short notice, even if you receive a booking from the preschool early in the morning?

During sick leave, childcare, and other absences, we need temporary substitutes. As a substitute, you will be in the middle of the operations, where it is expected that you are flexible and can quickly familiarize yourself with different routines. You will have the opportunity to work at several of our preschools during shorter or longer assignments.

Working in a group of children means that you always need to have the children's best interests in focus. You will be a helping hand and share in the tasks found in a preschool. In the preschool, both trained and untrained childcare workers, preschool teachers, and educators work together.

The preschool caters to children from one year of age until they start school. Here, a foundation for children's learning and development is laid. The municipality has 28 municipal preschools and family daycares.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who want to start working at our preschools in Härryda Municipality during the autumn. You must be able to step in with short notice, even if you receive a booking from us early in the morning. As a person, you are empathetic, engaged, calm, and responsible with a genuine interest in working with children.

Your Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both oral and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Extract from the Police Register ("Control of Own Information" and "Extract for work in school or preschool").
• High school diploma.
• Available to work at least 4-5 days a week, Monday-Friday.

Merits:

• Ability to work in all areas: Mölnlycke, Landvetter, Hindås, Rävlanda.
• Relevant work experience.
• Relevant education for the profession.
• A few years of work experience.
• Category B driver's license.

Important to know:

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Register must be presented. You order the register extract on the police website. If you are called for an interview, you must bring two different register extracts, "Control of Own Information," in an unopened envelope, and show the extract for work in school or preschool.

For this application, you need to answer a number of selection questions when you apply. Answers to the questions are used as part of the selection process. Your CV and answers to the questions must be formulated in Swedish.
