We are currently looking for you to join our team this summer as a personal assistant for a 19-year-old young woman. What does this position entail?

The position is a part-time summer temporary role with working hours during the day, evening, and weekends in July and August. There is also an opportunity to continue working during the autumn.

You will provide support with personal care, communication, and activities. She lives with her family and their dog in Alingsås. She is an active and cheerful young woman who enjoys being outdoors regardless of the weather. She often throws a ball, goes for walks, or swims. You will be helpful and involved throughout the activities, both to inspire and to supervise.

She is a social person. She does not speak verbally but expresses what she wants. She understands what you say and can follow instructions. Over time, you will become a support for her in communicating with others. Previous experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or the ability to use pictures and signs as communication aids is an advantage.

You will also perform certain household tasks related to the client's functional variations.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We appreciate that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

The client is looking for someone who:

• Is female
• Is active and enjoys being outdoors
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Tolerates animals with fur
• Has knowledge or experience of functional variations, preferably autism
• Has a category B driver's license (preferred)

Other information

Employment type: Summer temporary position during July and August. Possibility of continued employment.

Scope: Part-time

Working hours: Day, evening, and weekends

Start date: Immediately, training & education scheduled in June.

We offer individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
