The Culture and Education Department aims to provide the education, care, and inspiration that our citizens of all ages need throughout different stages of life. The department consists of two divisions: the School Division and the Preschool and Culture and Leisure Division. The School Division includes all school forms from preschool class to adult education, as well as student health services. The Preschool Division covers all of the municipality's preschools and family daycare providers, while Culture and Leisure consists of the library, the school of arts, and youth leisure activities.

Munkedal School is a grades 1–6 school with an associated after-school center, located in central Munkedal. At our school, dedicated and skilled educators work with the belief that all students are everyone's responsibility. All students should be able to develop their full potential toward the goal, but the path to the goal may look very different for each. Description of the work

As an educator at Munkedal School's after-school center, you work together with qualified after-school pedagogues. Under the guidance of teachers in the after-school program, you participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching within the after-school center. In this role, you help involve students in the after-school activities and collaborate and communicate with each student in the group, as well as guardians and other professional categories. You are familiar with and follow the current laws, policies, and routines of the operation, and document in the existing operational systems.

During school hours, you work together with qualified teachers and provide support to students in need of adjustments.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• have relevant education for the assignment; primarily an after-school leader education or activity leader with a secondary education background in child and youth care, but other educational backgrounds may be assessed as equivalent.
• have experience working in an after-school center.
• have successfully worked with students in need of extra adjustments (meritorious).
