Do you want to work in a small municipality with big opportunities?
You are warmly welcome to join us at Munkedal Municipality!
Munkedal Municipality is located in northern Bohuslän, between Oslo and Gothenburg. Here, forests, rivers, and the sea meet, and distances between people and results are short. With us, you work closely with both colleagues and operations, with the opportunity to influence and make a difference in everyday life. We build on what is already strong and develop what makes people want to live, work, and thrive here. Development is created through interaction between residents, businesses, associations, and the municipality. This means that as an employee, you drive change together with others. We focus on people's well-being and strive for Munkedal Municipality to be a place where people enjoy living and are eager to recommend.
The Culture and Education Administration aims to provide the education, care, and inspiration that our young and adult citizens need through life's various developmental stages. The Culture and Education Administration consists of two departments: the School Department and the Preschool and Culture and Leisure Department. The School Department includes all school forms from preschool class to adult education, as well as student health services. The Preschool Department covers all of the municipality's preschools and family day care providers, while Culture and Leisure consists of the library, the school of arts, and youth leisure activities.
Do you want a meaningful job where you create safety and well-being for our students?
Munkedal School is a preschool to grade 6 school with an associated after-school center, located in central Munkedal. At our school, dedicated and knowledgeable educators work with the idea that all students are everyone's responsibility. Our goal is that everyone who works or studies at Munkedal School sees themselves as an important cog in the wheel and gets the best conditions for development. All students should develop their full potential towards the goal, but the path to the goal can look very different. As a result, we work from the thesis that fair does not always mean that everyone does the same.
To achieve good results both as a student and an employee, we see safety, well-being, and the feeling of being involved and having influence as central keywords in everything we do, and we constantly work to continue developing these areas.
