Description

Santosskolan is a 7–9 school located in Lindholmen with approximately 400 students. At our school, we work actively with the participation of teachers and students in systematic quality work. We have a well-functioning approach to safety and study environment, as well as good methodology and routines.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Spanish and English in grades 7–9. The position is fixed-term for the academic year 2026/2027. You will also serve as a mentor for grade 9 and have resource time to support students in their learning, either individually or in classroom settings.

Here, you are offered a varied role where you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. Together with your colleagues, you will design a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. The work involves collaboration with other teachers, student health services, school leadership, guardians, and other external actors.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Spanish and English with qualifications to teach in grades 7–9. It is meritorious if you have additional subjects in your qualifications.

To succeed in your role, it is important that you have a good ability to create conditions for learning to take place, both among students and colleagues. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You proceed from the equal value of all and create a good atmosphere in interactions. You are secure and clear in your professional role, responsible, receptive, and have the ability to address each child's individual needs, as well as having good collaborative skills.

You have the ability to explain problems and information to different audiences and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You keep yourself updated through environmental scanning and regularly reflect on what needs to be developed in your teaching. You take your duties seriously, are keen to complete what you have started, and ensure that the work is done correctly.

For you as a recent graduate, you will be included in the Basic Education Administration's Teacher Academy's introduction program for new teachers. The introduction gives you a network with other recent graduates and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
