The Culture and Education Department aims to provide the education, care, and inspiration that our citizens of all ages need throughout different stages of life. The department consists of two divisions: the School Division and the Preschool and Culture & Leisure Division. The School Division covers all school forms from preschool class to adult education, as well as student health services. The Preschool Division includes all municipal preschools and family day-care providers, while Culture & Leisure consists of the library, arts school, and youth leisure activities.

Kungsmarksskolan has approximately 380 students from grade 7 to 9, including adapted primary school. We offer an stimulating work environment where you can make a difference and contribute to the students' future. Together, we work to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, and we are all important cogs in our school's development.

We are now looking for an additional special needs teacher for our adapted primary school at the lower secondary level. Together with colleagues, you will lead our adapted school forms to ensure that every student reaches as far as possible in their knowledge development and preparation for adult life.

Description of the work

As a special needs teacher, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of teaching, as well as mentoring. You will be responsible for teaching students in a small group, in close collaboration with teaching assistants attached to the group. With an inspiring and supportive approach, you contribute to the students' learning, development, and hope for the future. You guide and support the teaching assistants in their daily work with the students, and together you collaborate on the students' knowledge development. We also have students who are integrated into regular classes, where close collaboration takes place with the class teachers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• have a degree as a special needs teacher.
• have experience working with the target group.
• have specialization in intellectual disability (meritorious).
• have knowledge of and/or experience with low-affective handling (meritorious).
