About the position

We are currently seeking a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Swedish and English in grades 7–9. The role also includes mentorship responsibilities.

Hellidsskolan is the municipality's only secondary school with approximately 460 students and 70 employees. Today, the school has five to seven parallel classes in each grade, special education groups, and an adapted primary school section. The staff focuses heavily on the school's guiding principles: health, knowledge, and security. The school's personnel is divided into four work teams and has a fully staffed student health team. You will have the opportunity to work with students in close collaboration with other skilled, qualified, and certified educators.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have the prescribed education for the position.

As a person, you have a good ability to build relationships and you have a positive outlook on life. You can work in a structured manner while also being willing to be flexible.

You already work today based on the extended teacher mandate, seeing opportunities and potential to change the student's learning environment. You are keen on giving all students a good chance to succeed; it is important to you that your students do well. You have the ability to create truly good relationships with the students, which makes you the most important and powerful tool for creating security and study peace inside and outside the classroom walls.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
