The Culture and Education Department aims to provide the education, care, and inspiration that our young and adult citizens need throughout different stages of life. The department consists of two divisions: the School Division and the Preschool and Culture & Leisure Division. The School Division includes all school forms from preschool class to adult education, as well as student health services. The Preschool Division covers all municipal preschools and family day care providers, while Culture & Leisure consists of the library, the music and arts school, and youth leisure activities.

Kunskapens Hus (The House of Knowledge) has approximately 300 students and is located in Dingle, within Munkedal Municipality. At Kunskapens Hus, we offer several different school forms: introduction programs, adult education, adapted upper secondary school, and national upper secondary programs. We have dedicated and competent teachers who always put the students' best interests first. Description of the work

In the role of teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching with a focus on students' learning and development. You create a safe and stimulating learning environment, adapt teaching based on students' needs, and actively work to ensure all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. You also participate in the school's development work through involvement in development groups, collegial learning, and systematic quality work. This means that together with colleagues and school leadership, you contribute to developing teaching, analyzing results, and strengthening the quality of the operations. The position can be partially tailored in dialogue with you based on your competencies, offering the opportunity to shape the role to meet both operational needs and your strengths.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• are a certified teacher and have adequate education to teach Swedish as a Second Language (SVA) and English at the upper secondary level.
• have experience teaching at the upper secondary level.
• have competence in digitalization.
• have eligibility to teach other subjects (meritorious).
