Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola in Jakobsberg offers both vocational and university-preparatory education. The school has approximately 300 students and 30 employees.

We are looking for

We are looking for a teacher with Swedish as the main subject. You have experience with, or an interest in, teaching at the upper secondary level and thrive on creating engagement and curiosity among students. You hold a teaching license with qualifications in Swedish.

Your assignment

The role includes planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in the courses included in the assignment. You work based on current regulatory documents and adapt the teaching to the students' needs and prerequisites. Teaching takes place in mixed-ability groups where students from different programs study together, and the groups include students studying Swedish as a second language (SVA). The role also includes mentorship for a Year 3 class in the Sales and Service program. Supervision of student teachers (VFU) is included in the assignment.

Your profile

We are looking for you with a strong commitment to teaching and the students' linguistic and personal development. You have the ability to build good relationships, are attuned to the students' different needs, and can meet students at different levels in a heterogeneous group. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, are open to developing your teaching, and actively participate in collegial learning.

It is an advantage if you have experience with and/or qualifications in Swedish as a second language (SVA).
