We are looking for a Sub-project Manager for Physical Security to join a leading authority within the electricity power sector.

This is a consultancy assignment based in Stockholm. The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

We are seeking a sub-project manager responsible for physical security within a comprehensive local and operational development project. The role involves leading, planning, and monitoring the implementation of the sub-project, with responsibility for schedules, budgets, resources, procurement, and deliveries. You will collaborate closely with project management, security functions, technical sub-projects, and external parties to ensure that requirements and solutions within physical security are implemented as planned.

Responsibilities

• Operational responsibility for the sub-project's schedule, budget, results, as well as resource and competence needs.
• Plan, monitor, and report the project's status to the main project manager and security coordinator.
• Collaborate continuously with sub-project managers, requirement setters, and security functions within physical security, IT, networks, and information security.
• Provide support and advice on matters concerning physical security in consultations with property owners and contractors.
• Responsible for developing decision and requirement specifications regarding cabling, locks, alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and other security solutions.
• Prepare procurement documents according to LOU, LUF, and LUFS, and assist in bid evaluation.
• Prioritize, make decisions, and lead work regarding orders, deliveries, installations, and site management within physical security.
• Review sketches, design documents, and drawings, and ensure approval and feedback before ordering and implementation.
• Participate in project meetings, manage risks according to project procedures, and continuously update status in project tools.
• Responsible for final reporting and handover of the sub-project to operations and maintenance.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• At least 10 years of experience in the role of sub-project manager or a similar role.
• At least 10 years of experience in physical security project management, i.e., perimeter protection, locks, alarms, door environments, and CCTV.
• At least 10 years of experience in project work and/or line work within complex buildings regarding installation density, disturbance-sensitive operations conducted 24/7, and secure construction projects.
• At least 10 years of experience within regulations related to security and physical security, e.g., from the Swedish Security and Protection Association (SSF lock, alarm, and protection classes).
• At least 5 years of experience in leading and coordinating security installations within access control, intrusion alarms, door environments, lock handling, and CCTV according to current standards and regulations between clients, suppliers, and construction contractors.
• At least 5 years of experience in structuring and documenting work, including writing descriptions.
• In the last 5 years, led at least 2 projects or sub-projects of at least 15,000 sqm within the security area. The projects do not need to be completed.
• Experience of leading projects or sub-projects within the security area in at least 2 projects of at least 15,000 sqm in the last 5 years. The projects do not need to be completed.
• Experience of having overseen or personally prepared decision documents for door cards, locks, alarms, CCTV, as well as power and networks for physical security equipment in at least 2 projects.
• Experience of at least 2 projects containing security-classified information from the last 5 years. The projects must be of a level where assignments can be verified (described briefly as far as possible from an information security perspective). The projects do not need to be completed.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Merits

• Certified Security Manager.
• Experience in the role of project manager/sub-project manager for physical security, having worked on at least 1 relevant project for a tenant within the public sector in the last 3 years. A relevant project refers to office projects. The public sector refers to authorities, regions, or municipalities. The project does not need to be completed.
• At least 20 years of experience within security, where you as a consultant have worked within all parts of security protection (information security, personnel security, physical security, etc.).
