About the role

We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant for an international company for a fixed-term assignment of approximately one year, starting in the autumn. You will become part of the finance department and take on a varied role where you work closely with the operations, handling both ongoing accounting tasks and administrative financial processes.

The company operates with inventory management, which means you will also have the opportunity to work with inventory-related flows and reconciliations.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for customer and supplier accounts (Accounts Receivable/Payable)
• Handle invoices, payments, and ongoing reconciliations
• Work with accruals and account reconciliations
• Support VAT reconciliations and VAT reporting
• Participate in monthly closing and reporting
• Work with inventory reconciliations and follow-up of goods flows
• Follow up on purchase orders and match invoices against orders
• Support the organization with various finance-related questions and projects

About you

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in accounting who wants to continue developing in this field. You are meticulous, structured, and enjoy taking responsibility for your tasks while collaborating well with others.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Experience from inventory accounting
• Experience with customer and supplier accounts
• Basic knowledge of ongoing accounting
• Experience with account reconciliations and accruals
• Good skills in Excel
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

It is a plus if you have experience with VAT declarations, monthly closing, Intrastat reporting, or intercompany transactions.
