We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a man in Gånghester who has ALS.
As a personal assistant, you need to have empathy and respect for the person you work for. Your ability to work based on the client's focus and wishes is crucial for your suitability as a personal assistant. The position involves both work in the home and outings.
The ideal candidate is ambitious and genuinely interested in working with people, viewing this as a long-term assignment. You should be a positive, creative, and cheerful person with inner calm, who is supportive and motivating. Good work ethic and teamwork skills are also important.
If you are trained as a nursing assistant or personal assistant, and have experience and knowledge of ALS, it is an advantage, but not a requirement. We believe that personal chemistry and suitability are equally important.
Since communication and security are of utmost importance, it is a requirement that you speak and write Swedish fluently. The man is able to communicate.
The ideal candidate should have good initiative. It is seen as a positive if you share some interests, such as music, concert visits, film, gardening, travel, and sports. We often go shopping, walk in the forest, and have coffee or lunch in town.
We preferably seek a non-smoker.
