About the role

The mission of the IT Support unit is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services to the region's operations. Deliveries are made through projects, maintenance, and support for a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a client organization since the region's IT operations are managed by an external provider. Approximately 90 people work within IT, all with diverse backgrounds and experience. We strive for an open work climate where we help each other develop. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå.

This position suits you who have experience in customer service/user support and have a strong interest in IT and doing your best to support users. As an employee in the Service Desk, you will, together with your colleagues, receive, handle, and troubleshoot IT-related cases via phone, email, and the self-service portal. Our task is to provide fast, correct, and professional service and help all the region's operations with the right IT support. We are now looking for an IT Technician for a full-time temporary position with a start date as early as 2026-08-10 until 2027-10-15.

Responsibilities

As an IT Technician, your responsibilities will include among other things:

• Receive, handle, and troubleshoot incoming IT-related cases via phone, email, and the self-service portal.
• Provide support on clients, applications, and networks.
• Handle account and permission administration.
• Provide support on fixed telephony, mobile telephony, and tablets.
• Some administrative tasks are also included.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have a completed upper secondary education.
• Have experience working with technical support and service, or other work experience that the employer deems equivalent, and have previously worked within a large organization, such as a region or municipality.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B).
