Within the Product Area Platform & Integration, we are responsible for the entire lifecycle management of our products within Integration, Platform, Container, Database, and IAM. This includes development, implementation, operations, and maintenance to ensure stable and efficient platform services.

Web Platform, Container Technology, and AI

As a Platform Engineer within the Product Area Platform and Integration, you will become a key part of the development and management of the Social Insurance Agency's platform services. You will work in a private cloud environment where you manage the entire lifecycle of the platform's various components, from development and implementation to operations and optimization.

In this role, you will explore and implement new technology, including AI and open-source solutions, and take responsibility for web platforms built on container technology. You will be involved in the further development of self-service interfaces, as well as the improvement and optimization of platform infrastructure services.

The work also involves cross-functional collaboration with other technical teams, where you will have the opportunity to share knowledge, contribute to automation processes, and further develop the Social Insurance Agency's systems.

We are looking for someone who thrives on problem-solving, innovation, and efficiency and who has a strong technical foundation in container technology, infrastructure services, and programming.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, as a future employee, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who 

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• has experience with Container technology such as Kubernetes or Docker
• has experience working in Linux
• acts on own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results  
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has a systematic and meticulous work approach
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good communication skills
• has good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you

• have experience working with the Social Insurance Agency's internal systems and platforms
• have technical skills in data description formats, such as YAML, JSON, and XML   
• have technical skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• have technical skills in Data Security
• have technical skills in IAM.
• have technical skills in Python, Bash, or Golang
• have knowledge of Git and GitOps
• knowledge of Cloud Native products
• knowledge of Helm
• knowledge of AI.

Other Information

One position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply. In accordance with the Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations.

To be employed in such a position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required. Remote work opportunities exist if the work allows. Location: Sundsvall.
