About the Role

Our IT Support department within Support and Services has the overarching responsibility to coordinate the region's IT and digitalization work. It should be exciting to build the services of the future together to meet the needs of our residents and support healthcare with the overarching purpose: to create more time for care! We are now looking for an engaged Senior System Developer.

The IT Support function works across the county and serves as a support to all operations within the region. With over 10,000 users, 50 major business systems, 400 medium and smaller systems, over 8,000 workstations, and a requirement for 24/7 production, you will become a crucial part of making the puzzle fit together and enabling future healthcare. As a Senior System Developer, you will join a professional and engaged team with strong forward momentum. You will have an important role in our work to design and implement future IT support for a business area with a high rate of digitalization. You will work in a team together with other system developers, collaborating closely with architects and administration managers. We believe it is important that you have a good understanding of all stages of the development process (requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and operations) and have the desire to perform these tasks, as well as an interest in further developing your knowledge in these areas. To thrive here, we believe you enjoy problem-solving and want to combine systems analysis and requirements gathering with development and technology.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date according to agreement. The location is Sundsvall, Härnösand, Sollefteå, or Örnsköldsvik, decided in consultation with the hiring manager.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include translating business needs into realized integration/system solutions through all stages of the development process and being able to run several such projects in parallel.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have an academic education in system development, systems science, computer science, or similar, or alternatively equivalent acquired knowledge that we assess as equivalent by the employer.
• Have previously worked in areas described in the advertisement and have experience working in complex businesses, such as healthcare.
• Have at least 7 years of professional experience in development.
• Have previous professional experience in independently conducting investigation, requirements management, design, and development of system integrations according to a predetermined architecture.
• Have good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Have experience with development in SQL Server.
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).

It is an advantage if you

• Have previously worked with development in Microsoft BizTalk.
• Have previously worked with system development in a team.
• Have previously worked in the healthcare sector.
• Have worked with .NET development during the last 3 years.
• Have previously worked with system integration via SOAP and REST services.
• Have previously worked with developing microservices.
• Have previously worked with developing integrations in more modern integration platforms.
