About the role

Our IT Support department within Support and Service has the overarching responsibility to coordinate the region's IT and digitalization work. It should be exciting to build the services of the future together to meet the needs of our inhabitants and support healthcare with the overarching goal: to create more time for care! We are now looking for an engaged Senior Software Developer.

The IT Support function works county-wide and serves as a support to all operations within the region. With over 10,000 users, 50 large operational systems, 400 medium and small systems, over 8,000 workstations, and a requirement for 24/7 production, you will become a crucial part of making the puzzle fit together and enabling future healthcare. As a Senior Software Developer, you will join a professional and engaged team with strong forward momentum. You will have an important role in our work to design and implement future IT support for an organization with a high rate of digitalization. You will work in a team together with other software developers, collaborating closely with architects and administration managers. We believe it is important that you have a good understanding of all phases of the development process (requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and operations) and have the desire to perform these tasks, as well as an interest in further developing your knowledge in these areas. To thrive with us, we believe you enjoy problem-solving and want to combine systems analysis and requirements gathering with development and technology.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include translating operational needs into realized integration/system solutions through all phases of the development process and being able to run several such projects in parallel.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Has an academic education in software development/systems science/computer science or similar, or equivalent acquired knowledge that we assess as equivalent by the employer
• Has previously worked in areas described in the advertisement and has experience working in complex operations such as healthcare
• Has at least 7 years of professional experience in development
• Has previous professional experience in independently conducting investigations, requirements management, design, and development of system integrations according to a predetermined architecture
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has worked with development in SQL Server
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you

• Have previously worked with development in Microsoft BizTalk
• Have previously worked with software development in a team
• Have previously worked in the healthcare sector
• Have worked with .Net development during the last 3 years
• Have previously worked with system integration via SOAP and REST services
• Have previously worked with developing microservices
• Have previously worked with developing integrations in modern integration platforms
