Then you are the right person for us in the SDK team at Digg. SDK (Secure Digital Communication) is a jointly administered infrastructure used by government agencies, regions, and municipalities to exchange information in a simple, secure, and safe manner. Digg is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure is easy to connect to, robust, and secure. You will also be stepping into an exciting phase. Digg and PTS are preparing a merger to become a strengthened agency for digitalization issues from 2027.

About the job

We are now looking for two system developers to work with SDK. Here, you will help develop and maintain a socially important digital infrastructure used by actors across the entire public sector. You will work closely with the entire development chain – from development and testing to deployment and maintenance. The role is broad and varied, involving both backend and frontend development, APIs and integrations, as well as container-based environments in OpenShift. You will also contribute to automated flows for testing, building, and delivery. The work includes both new development and further development with a focus on security, stability, and long-term maintainability. Here, you will work in a team where collaboration, quality, and a holistic perspective are central.

We believe in the strength of different experience levels and are therefore looking for both those with a few years of experience in system development and those who have worked longer in the field.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• developing and maintaining services, APIs, and components related to SDK
• working with backend and frontend development
• contributing to technical decisions, architecture, and solution design
• working with deployments, pipelines, and automated flows
• analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues
• contributing to testing, documentation, and quality assurance
• collaborating closely with colleagues within the team and the organization
• contributing to ensuring that SDK continues to be secure, robust, and easy to use for the public sector

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have the following competencies, knowledge, and experiences:

Experiences and skills - requirements

• Experience in backend development with Java for at least 3 years
• Experience in frontend development, e.g., Vue, React, Angular for at least 2 years
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with Quarkus and/or Spring
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience with team-based development according to agile principles
• Experience with automation of build, test, and delivery flows in container-based environments, at least 2 years
• Experience working with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Experiences and skills - meritorious

• Experience working with Git, GitLab, and GitHub
• Experience with certificate management

Digg and PTS form a joint agency

The Government has decided that Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) will merge into a joint agency from January 1, 2027.

The purpose is to strengthen Sweden's digitalization by consolidating our competencies in areas such as digital infrastructure, data, and AI within the same organization. The joint agency will have a broader mandate and better conditions to contribute to a more cohesive digital society.
