The vision of Production Monitoring is to be the heart of the Social Insurance Agency's IT production. Our primary role is to monitor and resolve faults in the Agency's IT infrastructure, applications, and services around the clock. We develop tools and working methods to enable proactive action, thereby intervening before a disruption can have consequences for operations or citizens.

IT Technician, IT Operations, and IT Monitoring

As an IT Technician in Production Monitoring, your main area of responsibility is to monitor daily production and act swiftly in the event of deviations to minimize downtime for internal and external users. This involves resolving incidents, creating problem tickets, and participating in the implementation of changes in accordance with the ITIL framework, together with other staff. The role involves many contact points with both internal and external parties, where a key part of your work is to quickly disseminate correct operational information to affected stakeholders in the event of an incident.

You will work standard office hours within a business that operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This means you will serve as a cohesive link between the rotating technical staff and, to some extent, between the unit and the rest of the organization.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• has work experience in large-scale operations on Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
• has experience in critical 24/7 operations
• acts on own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has good communication skills, both verbal and written
• has a systematic and meticulous work approach
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both verbal and written.

It is an advantage if you

• have knowledge of the ITIL framework and its processes, especially incident, problem, change, and release
• have experience administering applications on Linux and Windows servers
• have experience in server virtualization
• have experience from shift work
• have relevant certifications
• have experience with the implementation of AI-Ops.

Other Information

Permanent, full-time position with start date according to agreement. Probation period may apply. Some positions involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
