About the role
The IT Support business area is tasked with developing and managing overarching and common processes for the area. It is also responsible for services within these parts. Our operations are mainly located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik and Sollefteå. The business area's mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services and telephony to the region's operations. Deliveries are made through projects, maintenance, and support for a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a client organization since large parts of the region's IT operations are managed by an external provider. We are in an intense period with continued development of the medical record system Cosmic, and the role focuses on operational maintenance and development. We are now looking for a specialist for the unit for care-related system maintenance. You will work within the maintenance object Care Support and e-Health.
The unit is responsible for operational system maintenance of care systems and e-services via 1177. You work closely with healthcare operations and contribute to ensuring that the systems function in the daily work of employees within health and social care. The assignment involves developing, maintaining, and improving support in the systems used for, among other things, care administration, documentation, medication management, orders, test results, and digital services to residents. In this role, you help ensure that solutions support safe working methods, efficient flows, and useful system support in the daily life of healthcare.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date according to agreement. If needed, there is an opportunity for clinical work for a part of the role. The location is Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik or Sollefteå.
Responsibilities
- Handle cases related to Orbit/PasIva and ensure they are followed up and resolved.
- Dialogue with super users and operations to capture needs and support the use of the system.
- Participate in user forums and collaborate with other regions using Orbit and PasIva.
- Report status, deviations, and development needs to the object manager.
- Quality-assure documentation and contribute to ensuring system data and functionality maintain high quality.
- Contribute to the implementation of activities in the maintenance plan according to schedule.
- Coordinate training needs and plan and conduct training initiatives for the operations.
- Analyze the operations' needs and translate them into concrete improvement proposals in systems and working methods.
- Participate in testing, implementation of changes, and version upgrades of the system.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has post-secondary education in IT, health care, or other education deemed relevant by the employer, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience.
- Has experience working in healthcare information systems.
- Has work experience in operational system maintenance or similar work.
- Has good knowledge of digitalization and how IT support can contribute to operational development.
- Has experience working independently and handling several parallel tasks.
- Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
- Has a valid driver's license (Category B).
It is an advantage if you:
- Have education in system maintenance, IT governance models (e.g., PM3 or ITIL), or information systems.
- Have clinical education (e.g., nurse, medical secretary, or equivalent).
- Have work experience in system maintenance within care systems, such as Orbit or PasIva.
- Have work experience in change management, testing, and implementation of new system versions.
- Have work experience in planning and conducting training initiatives.
- Have work experience in collaboration with suppliers and external parties.
- Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing.
