About the role

As an IT Specialist, you will work with infrastructure and IT security at both operational and tactical levels in a fully cloud-based environment based on Azure and Microsoft 365. You will become part of a small team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a shared sense of responsibility are central to the work.

In this role, you are responsible for identifying areas for improvement within infrastructure and IT security and implementing these in practice by analyzing needs, developing solutions, and driving implementation. You work both independently and together with colleagues, contributing to the development and efficiency of the IT environment, including through automation and Infrastructure as Code.

An important part of the job is to ensure that the environment is up-to-date, secure, and functions efficiently over time. You plan and drive your tasks within the team's backlog and follow up that the work is carried out as planned. The role also involves collaboration with internal teams as well as external partners and suppliers, where you may both specify requirements and lead work within your area of responsibility.

In addition to development work, the role also includes operational responsibility. You participate in what is called "operational week," where the team, according to a rolling schedule, takes greater responsibility for support and user-related IT issues that cannot be resolved by the first-line helpdesk.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are passionate about technology and want to be part of developing a modern, cloud-based IT environment. You have an academic education from a university or college, or equivalent experience that has given you a stable technical foundation and the ability to quickly get up to speed in new areas.

You have several years of experience working with IT infrastructure in Azure and Microsoft 365 and feel confident in how modern IT environments are built, developed, and secured. You have good knowledge of Microsoft's ecosystem, for example client and server environments as well as services such as Exchange and Intune, and you have a natural understanding of the importance of IT security in a cloud-based reality.

If you also have experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example via scripts or tools like Bicep, or have worked with security solutions like Microsoft Defender, we see this as a big plus.

To thrive in the role, you are a person who takes responsibility and drives your work forward, while also appreciating working together with others and contributing to the team's development. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and enjoy going from idea to implemented improvement. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and can clearly share your knowledge with both colleagues and other parts of the organization.

You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and are motivated by being part of creating a secure, stable, and future-proof IT environment.
